Thank you for being a Kent Nerd Party vendor. This page contains all the info you’ll need to have a successful KNP!
Please email KDPAdmin@kentdowntown.org OR text/call (253)-202-0354 to reach the events coordinator, Abby, with any questions. Texts are best for day-of communications.
You may have read previously here that last year’s event coordinator would be onsite to assist with load-in, but she had an emergency therefore can no longer make it to Kent.

Your booth location
Find your booth location on the Booth Catalouge
Your booth location can be found on the Vendor Map KNP 2026
While we do our best to make sure this is accurate, we reserve the right to change these placements. Your most reliable source of information will be the info booth day-of.
Please note the size of your allotted space and prepare to keep your display within those confines.
Load in instructions
Load in begins at 10:00AM.
You must arrive by 11:30AM. After 11:30AM vehicles will not be allowed in the market area.
Make sure to check in with a volunteer or staff person (wearing bright orange Kent Nerd Party shirts) before unloading. They can guide you to your booth. It is not fun when you’ve accidentally unloaded at the wrong booth–let us double-check for you!
Different vendors have different load-in routes.
- Authors/indoor vendors should load into the space from the Titusville Alley. Drive through the Post Office parking lot to access this space.
- Outdoor vendors and sponsors on 1st Ave can enter or exit from anywhere but the West entrance of W Gowe St, where the food court is. Those on 2nd Ave can enter from the North side via E Meeker St.
- Food vendors can enter and exit on W Gowe St.
Please see the LOAD MAP for directions f0r authors/indoor vendors, outdoor vendors and sponsors on 1st Ave, and food vendors. Those on 2nd Ave can enter from the North side via E Meeker St.
With over 40 vendors unloading, there’s bound to be some traffic. We deeply appreciate your patience. Please do your part in helping us alleviate congestion by unloading quickly and moving your vehicle as soon as you’ve unloaded—before you begin setting up your booth.
All vehicles must be removed from the event space by 11:30AM.
All vendors are expected to bring their own equipment (tables, chairs, canopies, canopy weights, etc.). Tent weights are required, at a minimum of 15lbs per canopy leg.
Parking
There is limited parking in the lot at the corner of E Titus St and 1st Ave S, South of the event area. It would be best to park in one of these lots.
If that lot is full, you can park in some areas on the street (be aware of areas marked as 2-hour parking) or in the parking garage at Kent Station, which is a few blocks away. Check out our full parking map here.
Please contact me if you are seeking more information on parking.
- FYI, we have requested the police Parking Enforcement team to waive the time enforcement on 2-hour street parking for the day of the event, and our contact on the team agreed to honor that as the parking patrol is inactive on the weekend. So, while it is unlikely you will be ticketed based on this, parking tickets should be assumed to always be a risk for which you will personally hold the responsibility for. The parking lots should be your first choice, which, as previously mentioned, there are several available nearby.
Load out
You must cease sales and may begin deconstructing your booth at 7PM, but you will not be able to drive your vehicle on site until pedestrians are cleared. Pack your booth up, then drive your vehicle on site to load out.
Vendors that make sales after 7PM may not be invited back to the event.
Your booth area must be fully cleared by 8PM. Please pick up any trash from your booth.
Food
There are food vendors located on W Gowe St and several restaurants in the immediate area of the market.
Post-event survey
As part of our Terms & Conditions, vendors (sponsors excluded) agreed to complete a post-event survey. You have two weeks to do so, until 6/20/2026. We deeply appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve the event for everyone!
You can find the post-event survey here linked here
