Your booth location

Your booth number is specified in the Booth Catalogue here.

Your booth location can be found on the vendor load-in map.

While we do our best to make sure this is accurate, we reserve the right to change these placements. Your most reliable source of information will be the info booth day-of.

Please note the size of your allotted space and prepare to keep your display within those confines.

Load in

Load in begins at 11:30AM.

You must arrive by 1PM. After 1PM vehicles will not be allowed in the market area. If you do not arrive by 1PM we may replace you with a waitlisted vendor.

Make sure to check in with a volunteer or staff person (wearing bright yellow Kent Nerd Party shirts) before unloading. They can guide you to your booth. It is not fun when you’ve accidentally unloaded at the wrong booth–let us double-check for you!

Different vendors have different load-in routes. Please see the load-in map for directions.

  • Authors/indoor vendors should load into the space from the Titusville Alley. Drive through the Post Office parking lot to access this space.
  • Outdoor vendors and sponsors can enter or exit from anywhere but the West entrance of W Gowe St, where the food court is.
  • Food vendors can enter and exit on W Gowe St.

With over 40 vendors unloading, there’s bound to be some traffic. We deeply appreciate your patience. Please do your part in helping us alleviate congestion by unloading quickly and moving your vehicle as soon as you’ve unloaded—before you begin setting up your booth.

All vehicles must be removed from the event space by 1PM.

All vendors are expected to bring their own equipment (tables, chairs, canopies, canopy weights, etc.). Tent weights are required, at a minimum of 15lbs per canopy leg.

Parking

There is limited parking in the lot at the corner of E Titus St and 1st Ave S, South of the event area. Please note the North part of the lot is 2 hour parking, and the South part of the lot is all-day parking.

If that lot is full, you can park in some areas on the street (be aware of areas marked as 2-hour parking) or in the parking garage at Kent Station, which is a few blocks away. Check out our full parking map here.

Load out

You must cease sales and may begin deconstructing your booth at 7PM, but you will not be able to drive your vehicle on site until pedestrians are cleared. Pack your booth up, then drive your vehicle on site to load out.

Vendors that make sales after 7PM may not be invited back to the event.

Your booth area must be fully cleared by 8PM. Please pick up any trash from your booth.

Facilities

There are portable toilets, including an accessible portable toilet, located in the corner of Rosebed Park at the corner of W Gowe St and 1st Ave S. If you need access to a sink, a bathroom with a sink is available in the building behind the Beer & Cider Garden on W Gowe St. Stop by the info booth for directions.

Food

There are food vendors located on W Gowe St and several restaurants in the immediate area of the market.

Post-event survey

As part of our Terms & Conditions, vendors (sponsors excluded) agreed to complete a post-event survey. You have two weeks to do so, until 6/21/2025. We deeply appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve the event for everyone!

You can find the post-event survey here. It will open at 7PM the day of the event.
